Checkmate – Abstraction

Description

With its terracotta, beige and pink coloured diamonds in large format, the bespoke panoramic wallpaper Checkmate evokes moroccan zelliges, the broken up red earth and the heat of North Africa. The diamonds, as checkerboards, have an incredible presence. Their warm colours are emphasised as they are juxtaposed with green ribs. Painted in gouache, shapes and colours mix up to create a dynamic rhythm according to the Abstract Art’s  rules.
