Description
An explosion of colours in Art Deco style, such is the bespoke panoramic wallpaper “La Forêt Magique”. Painted in gouache, this panoramic wallpaper revisits the beauty and diversity of nature that surrounds us, here adorned with multiple intense colours to further emphasise all its richness. Trees and plants are sometimes gilded like treasures. The darkness of the night and the water at the foot of the trees highlight the stylized forms. The Magic Forest is a tale of oral tradition from West Africa. Once, the lions of a beautiful forest discovered that it was magical. They decided to hunt the gazelles in order to appropriate the forest and preserve this precious secret. To avenge, the gazelles set fire to the forest. Panicked, the lions decided to conclude a pact with them to stop the fire. Both decided to divide the forest and live in harmony. The power of the forest was in reality to have made possible the harmonious cohabitation between lions and gazelles.
